Cat's Whiskers or Java Tea (Orthosiphon aristatus)
Medicinal Herb - Catwisker Java TeaThis pretty perennial herb grows to around 1m tall in South-east Asia & Northern Australia . The leaves are attractively toothed and slightly hairy. Spikes of white tubular flowers with exceptionally long white stamens (thus Cat's Whiskers) are borne for most of the year in warm climates.

Cultivation

Easily grown in warm climates, Cat's Whiskers requires a sunny, well-drained location. It is drought tolerant and adaptable to a range of soil types. The plant can be planted by seed or by softwood cuttings harvest the leaves when in full bloom
